On December 22, 2004, with the signing of contract № 328 with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) for "Establishment of a High-Tech Business Incubator in Varna" officially the High-Tech Business Incubator have started functioning.

From 2004 to the signing of the contract for expansion of the High-Tech Business Incubator and its transformation into Business Incubator - Varna, a variety of business services were offered to the organizations in the field of information and communication technologies, sustainable and environmental technologies (including alternative energy), advanced marine technologies, medical and pharmaceutical products and technologies.

The aim was to stimulate the development of innovations and to increase the competitiveness of start-ups and already existing enterprises in the priority areas of the High-Tech Business Incubator.

Incubated companies are also offered an infrastructure that includes offices, conference halls, research labs and communications.

Following the expansion of the Business Incubator in 2015 to the list of priority areas were also included the processing industry, construction and transport (incl. construction of transport infrastructure), tourism, services - financial, logistics, etc., as well as chemical industry, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Until now Business Incubator - Varna supported the development of businesses from different sectors, some of which showed a massive increase in staff and revenues and set an example for successfully incubated companies.

Through the long-standing experience and will to support economic development, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Varna District and the North-East Planning Region, Business Incubator - Varna strengthened its position of infrastructure stimulating creation, development and implementation of innovative ideas.

High-Technology Park is an area where small and medium-sized businesses can find the intellectual environment and support which they need to start and develop their business.
Technological companies with high innovation potential, access to international transport, the large number of universities and research institutes in the region, and the already developed organizational structure - RAPIV, predispose to the existence and development of a High-Technology Park in Varna.
The main aim of the Park is to ensure the development, market introduction and implementation of the technological innovation products.
