1995 - 2001
Numerous consultative meetings for the establishment of the High-Technology Park and Incubator were conducted with the participation of academic and scientific institutions, local government, businesses, NGOs and other.

18.01.2002
The Council for Science and Higher Education at the District Governor of the District with Administrative Center of Varna holds a meeting at the Institute of Hydrodynamics and Aerodynamics on which the decision to hold intensive meetings between representatives of the academic and scientific community, businesses and central and municipal administration in order to establish a High-Tech Business Incubator in the city of Varna and to apply for PHARE funding.

04.07.2002
Constituent Assembly of the High-Technology Business Incubator - Varna (HTBI-Varna) was held.

22.12.2004
Contract № 328 with Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for „Creation of High-Technology Business Incubator in Varna" was signed after successful public procurement procedure.

21.06.2005
The Association's building in Asparuhovo quarter, Malka Chaika vicinity was inaugurated.

20.02.2007
Association „High-Technology Business Incubator - Varna" is transformed into “Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovations – Varna”.

02.02.2012
Grant Contract № BI-02-3 / 02.02.2012 between the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism and the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation - Varna under the project "Expanding Business Incubator - Varna to RAPIV" was signed.

18.11.2015
The renovated part of the building used for the Business Incubator was officially opened, which created better conditions for the operation of the companies. 14 new offices were provided to host the incubated companies from Varna and the region.

01.02.2017
After 13 years of active service as Executive Director Dr. Dimitar Radev, one of the founders of RAPIV, retired. Dr. Radev remains a member of the Management Board of the Association.
As Executive Director of RAPIV, the Management Board appointed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ralitsa Zhekova, who has long experience in managing European projects.
