EWA: Empowering Women in Agrifood Bulgaria 2024 is already here!

RAPIV - partner of EIT Food for implementation of the programme on the territory of Bulgaria,
is looking for 10 motivated women, who are interested in the

agri-food sector.

Opportunity for:

  mentoring
  trainings on specialised topics
 inclusion in the EWA Agrifood community and networking
participation in a pitching event and a chance to win a prize of 10 000 euro (for first place) and 5000 euro (for second place) to finance the business idea 

All participants, approved to join the programme, receive financial support at the amount of  1000 euro to cover the costs for participation in the events. 

The programme applies to:
 women, over 18 years old, with a place of residence in Bulgaria. 
 who have a business idea or a registered company in agrifood and/or related activities on the territory of Bulgaria 
 if you have a company, it has been registered for up to 3 years and has received no more than  60 000 euro in private or public support to date.

Participation in the programme is in bulgarian and is free for approved candidates!

 The goal of the EWA program is to motivate representatives of women-led early stage startups and women with business ideas in the field of agrifood to enhance their potential, understand their opportunities, gain the necessary knowledge, confidence and access to networks to successfully start and/or develop a sustainable business. 10 female entrepreneurs will actively participate for 6 months in the mentoring program related to the specific challenges faced by women in the agrifood sector.
