The third meeting of Regional Stakeholders Group under INTRA project was held on September 13, 2017 in the building of RAPIV. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, DG EFC, Regional Administration - Varna, regional branch organizations, NGOs and SMEs.

The project team familiarized the participants with the activities carried out so far.

Selected Bulgarian best practices within the project as well as good practices for the internationalisation of SMEs from the Podravie region, Slovenia and the Abruzzo region of Italy were presented.

The members of the Regional Stakeholder Group validated some of the European best practices presented, assessing their transfer capabilities in the region.

The focus of the meeting was on presenting the draft version of the Analysis of the State of Internationalisation of SMEs in the Northeast Region, including the results of a survey conducted among the companies in the region and among the business support organizations.

The main results of the studies carried out on the barriers and needs of SMEs and the available support measures were discussed. Key conclusions and recommendations were made.
