STREAM IT: National Inspirational Hub

RAPIV has launched a new initiative as part of the activities of the project: "STREAM IT - Directing girls and women towards STEAM education, innovation, and research," funded by the Horizon Europe program of the European Commission. The main goal of the project is to initiate a change regarding the ongoing gender inequality in STEM education and research and to contribute to the implementation of the European Manifesto for Gender-Inclusive STE(A)M Education and Careers.

A National Inspiration Hub for STEAM is being created, which will unite teachers and stakeholders from the community who are committed to supporting gender equality in STEM/STEAM education, research, and IT.

The goal of the National Inspiration Hub is to create an online community for networking STEM teachers and capacity-building communities, as well as to host activities for sharing and exchanging expertise and experience, transferring good and best practices, promoting project results, and organizing events. The hubs from all European countries involved in the STREAM IT project will be able to interact through an online platform.

Who is invited to join?

✅ STEM teachers in secondary schools
✅ University educators
✅ Educators from other organizations and institutions
....especially those focused on breaking gender stereotypes and biases in teaching and learning through real-life examples of applying STEAM methodologies.

If you are a teacher or involved in processes for integrating STE(A)M into school or academic environments, as well as creating initiatives and policies for gender equality and STEM policy development, join our survey!
