On March 17, 2018 in Varna, Bulgaria a Start 2 Up event was held by RAPIV. The event brought together more than 40 representatives of start-ups and entrepreneurs with business ideas for development.

Vesela Sofronieva, Business Development Expert at Business Incubator - Varna to RAPIV, presented the activity and services provided by the Business Incubator to start-up companies to support their development.

Maria Zlateva (RAPIV) acquainted the participants with the pilot acceleration programme Start 2 UP, created by the RAPIV team as a tool for assisting the realization of business ideas. The conditions and requirements for applying to the Acceleration Programme were presented.

Christopher Nagy, Managing Partner of HSH Systems Ltd., shared experience about the stages and transformations the firm was goind through and the support received by Business Incubator - Varna.

Successful innovative business idea, creation of key partnerships and participations at international exhibitions was presented by Dr. Valeri Penchev - manager of Corres EOOD, one of the best examples of successful company development after his stay in Business incubator - Varna.

Assoc. Prof. Eleonora Tankova, Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", introduced the participants with the global tendencies in industries, the jobs of the future and the skills that will be needed for the successful development of each entrepreneur. She emphasized the need for lifelong learning for each entrepreneur, which was a smooth transition to the presentation of Dilyan Popov, Education Directorat the Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Center. He focuses on the established "bridge" between Bulgaria and the USA for the exchange of knowledge, experience and resources through specialized programs for business training and financing of the Center.

Presenters provoked a lively discussion with the participants in the event. A great interest among the attendees prompted the opportunities for transferring foreign business models in Bulgaria, the ways of sharing the risk in the realization of the business idea and the successful advertising and promotion of the business.
