On May 30, 2018, 

Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-Alg) hosted the study visit that deepen the knowledge on identified good practices for internationalisation of the representatives of Regional Stakeholders Group represented by 2 experts from General Directorate “European Funds for Competitiveness”, Managing Authority of OPIC and 1 representative from Varna Free University.

Special attention was put on the 3 GPs, successfully implemented within OP in Algarve region:  

• Incentive to the Internationalisation of SMEs – Individual projects

• Incentive to the Internationalisation of SMEs – Joint projects

• Internationalisation Voucher.

The CCDR and stakeholders discussed the potential for collaboration. 

On 31 May 2018 at the University of Algarve, the internationalisation and incubation model of the region was presented to RSG representatives giving a better insight into the regional environment for stimulating internationalisation of regional SMEs.
