Press release №1: Project No 2017-1-041 AYEN Project AYEN „Active Youth Entrepreneurship Network“ is funded by the Youth Employment Fund of the EEA and Norway Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021, area of support: Innovations and Research. The project goal is to build transnational entrepreneurship network which supports NEETs, primarily up to 29 years old, who do not participate in any form of employment or education, to identify needs and opportunities within their communities that can be developed into new businesses and jobs. The total budget of the project is 3 010 321 Euro with duration of 36 months from 01.06.2018 to 28.05.2021. Partners: RAPIV is implementing the project in partnership with five organisations from Greece, Italy, Croatia, Romania and Norway. What has been achieved so far? • 36 NEETs are involved in the project; • 24 of them actively work on their business idea and have started their own business; • Work with companies in more than 10 different business sectors; • More than 600 hours of individual business counseling provided; • Free co-working space provided for 22 companies for a period of 2 years. What follows next? • Group and individual trainings; • Regular meetings to resolve specific cases; • Study trips and internships in Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Croatia and Italy; • Consultations for exchange of experience with developed EU companies. |
