About the Mentoring Programme:

The Ecosys4You project is launching a full-fledged, impactful Mentoring programme for young students and entrepreneurs supported by IAT, RAPIV, DOBA, and AWARE 7. It aims to establish connections between the Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in the Ruhr, Varna and Slovenia. 

Mentoring is a special partnership based on commitment to the mentoring process, common goals and expectations, focus, mutual trust and respect. Mentoring can also encompass activities that allow for the transfer of knowledge and skills from mentor to mentee. Both the mentor and the mentee give and grow in the mentoring process. The mentee can learn valuable knowledge from the mentor's expertise, and past mistakes and competencies can be strengthened in specific areas. Mentees will have the opportunity to establish valuable connections with higher-level experts. The success of mentoring will depend on clearly defined roles and expectations in addition to the participant's awareness of the benefits of participating in the mentoring program.

The mentoring programme will be organised in two rounds, 6 months each – the first is from November 2024 – May 2025, and the second is from May – November 2025.

We will start our mentoring with an international event to match students and their ideas with mentors from the private sector from the three regions. The mentoring process will be organised in virtual sessions between mentors and mentees. 

Mentees will solve different challenges in the form of tasks related to their business ideas with the help of their mentors. The tasks to be fulfilled will be organised according to the different stages of the business deck and, when completed, will be uploaded to a dedicated platform.

For whom is the mentoring programme?

• Young students and /or entrepreneurs,
• aged 18 – 35 years,
• with an interest in founding or running a business
• with sufficient English skills.
