Challenges and program of the EIT Food Challenge Lab 2023 Bulgaria are already available!

The EIT Food Challenge Lab aims to support entrepreneurs in developing ideas for new, innovative products, services and technological solutions to address real challenges facing the agri-food sector.

On October 12-14, 2023, the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation - Varna (RAPIV) organizes in cooperation with the University of Economics - Varna, Department of "Agrarian Economics" EIT Food Challenge Lab 2023 Bulgaria.

Join the 1.5-day hackathon to find solutions to the big problems facing the food industry sector in Bulgaria! The teams will face the following challenges:

1.How can the Bulgarian government stimulate the development of circular food systems?

2.Offer innovative solutions to minimize food waste.

3.Offer innovative solutions, technologies and initiatives to raise awareness about nutrition and healthy foods for children and parents.

4.Develop new technologies or products for crop protection and soil health.

5.Offer an innovative solution (IoT, software, robot) for the automation of a process directly related to the production of agricultural products.

6.Propose farming initiatives and models that strengthen rural communities.
