EIT Food has launched a recruitment drive for innovators and start-ups from the food industry sector for its programmes: EIT Jumpstarter, Sales Booster, TeamUp and Test Farms. Are you passionate about agri-food innovation?
Join the EIT Jumpstarter and collaborate with EIT Food to bring your ideas to life.  This cross-cutting program encompasses different EIT thematic areas: EIT Food, EIT Health, EIT Innoenergy, EIT Manufacturing, EIT RawMaterials, EIT Urban Mobility, New European Bauhaus and Rebuild Ukraine. It is aimed at innovators, students, researchers, new technology enthusiasts or just people who need to propose an innovative idea related to food, health care, energy, raw materials, industrial production, transport and mobility.
During international workshops, participants acquire basic business knowledge and learn how to develop their idea so that they can commercialize it and bring it to market. Intensive training focuses on improving the business plan and presentations to investors.
The best teams will compete in the international finals, and the best among will receive prizes of up to 10,000 euros. .png) Are you ready to expand your startup to new agri-food markets in Europe or from another industry to the agri-food market?? Apply for Sales Booster and grow your business in the food industry sector! Sales Booster is a specially created program by EIT Food that assists innovative startups from Southern, Central, and Eastern Europe to build a plan for internationalization, explore new agricultural food markets in Europe, and enter the agricultural food sector from another industry. You can receive personalized expert support, improve your network, and most importantly - learn from fellow founders!

Find the right co-founder for your food industry startup!  A well-chosen team is an important part of a successful business. TeamUp is a program that aims to connect talented scientists with experienced entrepreneurs who know how to commercialize innovative technologies. Scientists and entrepreneurs form teams and together go through a series of trainings and mentorships with industry experts. In addition, during the program, they test the possibilities of working together, checking the convergence of mutual expectations and the complementarity of competencies. The best teams have a chance to receive a prize of up to 40,000 euros. The application deadline is April 30, 2024. Apply here. If you have a start-up business or are an individual with an innovative solution for sustainability, precision farming, digital tracking, CO2 monitoring or others that can revolutionize farming practices, Test Farms is for you!
Test Farms is a program aimed at startups with an innovative prototype that meets the challenges of agriculture. At Test Farms, entrepreneurs can test their agrotechnical product or technology on the farm or in the farmer's field.
EIT Food supports the process by finding the right farm and interested farmer, involving experienced advisors and agricultural experts during testing.
Participants in the program have a chance to receive a grant of 3,000 euros. Apply here until 30th April 2024.
