As part of the INTRA project "Internationalisation of Regional SMEs" implemented under the INTERREG EUROPE Programmme, the RAPIV team developed an "Analysis of the Internationalisation of SMEs in the North-East Region of Bulgaria".

The main barriers and needs of companies for developing international activities are bring out, as well as the driving forces that promote this development. An assessment has been made of the policy instruments and measures that support the internationalisation of business and recommendations have been made to improve the internationalisation environment in the region.

In the development of the analysis, cooperation between different partners in the socio-economic life is ensured, incl. enterprises, representatives of local and central government, non-governmental organizations, networks and universities, as well as experts at regional, national and international level.
