A virtual seminar: "Unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of women" in the framework of the 18th Week of European Regions 2020 was held On October 7, 2020, as part of the 18th Week of European Regions 2020, a virtual seminar: "Unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of women", organized by RAPIV was held. More than 65 participants took part in the seminar. The moderator of the event was Mrs. Sanja Popović - Pantić, Chair of the EEN Sector Group Women's Entrepreneurship. Ms. Ralitsa Zhekova, Executive Director of RAPIV, welcomed the participants and presenters and presented the activities of the Association for support of women's entrepreneurship. Ms. Virag Zsar, HETFA Research Institute and Center for Economic and Social Analysis, Hungary, presented the project Ifempower and the results of a joint Study on the impact of Covid-19 on women's entrepreneurial attitudes in Europe. Ms. Gabriela Kostovska Bogoeska, Foundation Management and Industrial Research, North Macedonia and WEgate project community coordinator presented the opportunities for women entrepreneurs through the WEgate project platform. Ms Sandra Weiß-Wallner, Innovation Region Styria, Austria, presented the activities of Women in Business Project to support young women entrepreneurs from the Danube region. Recommendations for policy change, formed on the basis of studies conducted in 9 countries in the Danube region and studied good practices were discussed. Ms. Amélie Leclercq, BPW (Business & Professional Women) Europe, Belgium, introduced the participants to the opportunities to promote entrepreneurship through various areas of European Women’s Lobby.
