First Study trip under TEX-DAN project was held in Slovakia between 18- 19 September 2024 First Study trip under TEX-DAN project was held in Slovakia between 18- 19 September 2024
The event was organised by National Recycling Agency of Slovakia and was dedicated to sharing experience and good practices in the field of recycling and creation of new products from recycled textile waste.
 The 1st day of the Study trip included a visit to a textile manufacturer - company SVETRO in Zvolen, Slovakia.
 The visit was followed by a project progress meeting of all partners, held in parallel with moderated discussion among the stakeholders from the fashion and textile industry, which resulted in many new contacts and opportunities for collaboration.
The second day of the visit was hosted by TUZVO University in Zvolen, where the latest advancements of research in the field of textiles were presented and their role in the circular economy. The second day of the visit concluded with a session, dedicated to Slovak SMEs, presenting their solutions for circularity in fashion and textile.
